A FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER CERTIFICATION/RBS TRAINING - A VALUABLE SIGN OF ACCOMPLISHMENT
Anyone who is in charge of the day-to-day operations in a place that serves food to the public, such as a restaurant, bar, food truck, or hospital, must hold a Food Protection Manager Certification to show they understand food safety.
Our RBS Training Program is an online course aimed at allowing you to obtain your RBS certification to work legally in California as a server of alcoholic drinks or as a manager in such a setting. With the new requirement for all servers and managers to hold this certification, it’s important to make sure you have this in place by July 1st, 2022. Once you are hired in such a role, after the July 1st, 2022 date has passed, you will have 60 days to obtain your certification.
HOW IS A FOOD MANAGER CERTIFICATION/RBS TRAINING USED?
Holding a Food Protection Manager Certification shows employers that you understand food safety and health regulations and have the knowledge needed to oversee food handling and processing operations. Employers can check your certification status through our online system.
When applying for jobs, you may call yourself a "Responsible Training Food Protection Manager Certification Recipient". You can refer to your "Responsible Training Food Protection Manager Certification" on your resume.
You may not say or imply that you are "certified," "certificated," "licensed," "registered" or "accredited"; these terms indicate a different type of program than food manager training.
Completing an RBS Training Course with an ABC-approved provider and the Certification Exam via the RBS Portal is a requirement for individuals who sell or serve alcohol in the State of California.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Responsible Training’s first consideration is customer satisfaction. If for any reason you request a refund before a certificate is issued, we will be happy to refund you the full amount of the transaction.
