RESPONSIBLE TRAINING'S FOOD HANDLER COURSE

New and existing food handlers must know the current statutes for the location in which they are employed. Most states today require those working in the profession to pass a course specifically designed for food handlers. Our company offers the Arizona food handler training in four languages.

The course offer complies with the ASTM E2659 standard practice. This certificate program was developed using the requirements set forth by training specialists, food administration professionals, food handlers, and food safety officials working in the local health department. The organization regularly updates the course to ensure it remains current with the latest food codes. In addition, we continuously review the program to see where changes must be made to improve the quality of the course. You can see the changes that have been made on our website.here.

Why Take This Arizona Food Handlers Course?

Every person who prepares food and serves it to others outside of their household benefits from taking a valid food handler course. This includes those working in restaurants, bars, hospitals, food trucks, school cafeterias, nursing homes, and more. Holding the Food Handler Certificate demonstrates these individuals have a thorough understanding of food safety. In fact, any person who comes into contact with food throughout the course of their work duties benefits from obtaining this certificate. Many assume only those who prepare and cook food should take the course, but those who serve it or clean up after customers/diners also find the training to be beneficial.

How Will Participants Use This Certificate?

Employers look at the certificate and feel confident the worker has an understanding of food safety. This certificate may be viewed through the provider's online system to show proof of successful completion of the course. Individuals who successfully pass the course are permitted to use the phrase "Responsible Training Food Handler Certificate" on their resume when applying for a job. However, they may not state they are licensed, registered, certified, accredited, or certificated. These terms may only be used with other types of food handling programs.

Completing the Coursework to Obtain Your Food Handlers Card

The course consists of multiple lessons. Each lesson will provide a detailed explanation of the topic along with exercises the student is to complete. A person may have the lessons read to them, using the voice-over option. Upon completion of the lesson, the student takes a five-question quiz to demonstrate their knowledge of the topic. When the student completes the six lessons successfully, they take a final exam. To obtain the Food Handler Certificate, this individual must receive a grade of 70 percent or higher. :

Students determine the pace at which they finish each lesson. However, they cannot advance to another lesson until they complete the current one. In addition, the student has six months from the date of registration to complete all coursework. Lessons take a maximum of 15 minutes to complete, and a student can complete each quiz in five minutes.
