Yes. San Diego County Code requires that if your job/occupation (e.g., a waiter, waitress, bartender, chef, dishwasher, meat cutter, deli or salad bar worker, etc.) requires you to handle food or dishes, you must receive food safety training.
The San Diego Food Handler Certificate is valid for three years.
It is very important to make sure the test or training you take is approved for San Diego County. Not all courses in California are accepted in the county.
Yes. Anyone who serves alcohol in a place where it will be consumed, and the managers overseeing those servers, is required to hold a valid Responsible Beverage Service certification. This is a mandate that comes from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).
The California RBS Certificate is valid for three years.
