Anyone who works in a place that serves food to the public (restaurant, bar, food truck, or hospital) should hold an Allergen Awareness Training Certificate to show they understand food safety

If you come into contact with food during preparation, cooking, serving, or cleaning, this training will be valuable for your job.


How this course works

We've made it easy to receive your allergen training, meet state and company standards and begin work as quickly as possible. This course includes:

  • Self-paced lessons that take less than 15 minutes and have a voice-over option that reads the lesson aloud
  • Short quizzes to see how much you've retained after each lesson
  • A final test once all four lessons are completed. To get your Allergen Awareness Training Certificate, you must achieve a 70% on the final exam.
