TENNESSEE SERVER PERMIT & TRAINING DETAILS

A TENNESSEE SERVER PERMIT- AN ESTEEMED SYMBOL OF ACHIEVEMENT

A Professional Server Permit is crucial for individuals working in on-premise alcohol-serving establishments like bars and restaurants. This training program provides valuable knowledge of alcohol laws, helping you protect yourself from legal repercussions and enhance your job performance. Gain a competitive edge by enrolling today and acquire a comprehensive understanding of alcohol regulations, empowering you to navigate your role with confidence.

HOW DO YOU USE YOUR SERVER PERMIT?

By holding a Professional Server Permit, you demonstrate to employers your knowledge surrounding the basic legal framework governing alcohol sales. When seeking employment, you can proudly refer to yourself as a "Professional Server Permit Holder" and even include this distinction on your resume.

It's important to note that the terms "certified," "certificated," "licensed," "registered," or "accredited" should not be used or implied when describing your status. These terms imply a different type of program or certification, separate from the seller-server training provided by the Professional Server Permit

HOW LONG ARE THE SERVER PERMITS VALID FOR?

The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission has set the validity of a Tennessee Server Permit at 5 years. It will be printed on your certificate and may be checked by using our online verification program.

HOW THIS COURSE WORKS

Immerse yourself in comprehensive lesson materials accompanied by engaging exercises in our training program.

The Tennessee Server Permit Training Program consists of four easy to understand lessons, each with a review and a quick quiz so you can be sure you understand the lesson and are prepared for the exam. To be awarded a Tennessee Server Permit, you must view all lessons and quizzes, then take a 25-question multiple choice exam, which you must pass with 70% to be awarded a permit. You have two opportunities to take the exam. If you don't pass on your initial attempt, simply reach out to us to unlock the exam for a second try.

Flexibility is key, as this course is designed to be completed at your own pace. However, it's important to finish each lesson before advancing to the next. Please note that all training must be completed within six months of registration. Each lesson can be conveniently reviewed in 15 minutes or less, while the quizzes should take approximately 5 minutes each.

You will be given the option of downloading your temporary copy immediately after you pass the exam. Your official permit will be available on the Tennessee Regulatory Licensing and Permitting System (RLPS) here.
