IS PRIOR EDUCATION REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?

WHAT ARE THE USES FOR A CLASS A&B OPERATOR TRAINING CERTIFICATE?
The primary use for this certificate is to meet regulatory standards and be legally permitted to own or operate a facility with an underground storage tank. With a valid certificate in place, you can state that you hold a “Responsible Training Class A&B UST Operator Certificate”. In addition to the legal reasons for getting your certificate, you can also improve the way you operate your facility through the knowledge you gain in this class.
HOW DOES THE TRAINING COURSE WORK?
Even if it’s been a while since you have been in school, the format will be familiar when you take this class. A set of lessons will be delivered one at a time, each with engaging exercises to help you retain the information. Each of the 11 lessons has a short quiz at the end to test your knowledge. You can work through the course at your own pace, and correctly answering at least 70% of the questions is required to pass the course and receive your certificate.
HOW LONG DOES A CLASS A&B UST TRAINING CERTIFICATE LAST?
Once you have successfully completed this course, your certificate will be good for five years from the date it is issued. If you are still a UST owner or operator in five years, you will need to repeat this process.
CAN I COMPLETE THIS COURSE ON MY PHONE?
We think you will have a better experience taking the course on a computer, but it may be possible to work through all of the lessons on your smartphone, if necessary.
WHAT UST TRAINING IS PROVIDED?
There is a lot of information contained in this course, so you’ll come away with a well-rounded understanding of the important concepts of managing an underground storage tank. Some of the highlights include spill and overfill protection methods, dealing with an emergency situation, reporting requirements, how to close a facility with a UST, and much more.

CAN I RETAKE THE EXAM IF I DON'T PASS?
Absolutely? The goal of this course is simply to provide you with the knowledge you need to safely operate a property with a UST. With that in mind, you are welcome to review the course materials at any time, and there is no limit to the number of retakes offered for the exam.
WHAT INFORMATION IS NEED TO REGISTER?
